How in the name of every thing sane have I managed to survive without it?

One place I've noticed some big ut-oh's are on the backgrounds people use on Twitter. Your background may look like it's filling the screen on your monitor, but I've seen quite a few where the background doesn't go all the way to the right.

Reminds me of a comment I left on a photoblog. I said, "Exceptional!" and because I'm normally wordy, the site owner emailed me and said, "So I guess that's your word for 'it sucks'?"

I emailed the person back and said, "No, my word for that would be, 'uh, yeah, not so much'," which is precisely what I think when a site has been designed and the designer has failed to plan for all screen resolutions.

It's a useful method of drawing the eye to a particular word or phrase; possibly a hyperlink in a section of text.

It's particularly useful when the normal text style on a site is another font such as Verdana, etc.

Our normal text is very close to the typewriter text, but suppose your normal text looked like this particular paragraph and you wanted to catch the eye of your reader. Inserting the typewriter text html to point them to a hyperlink like [pearweed] would make your text stand apart.

There's one thing to keep in mind when attempting to change the appearance of your bullet. If your CSS has the bullet style built in it would be necessary to have an alternate code to use these three bullet styles.

You have text and/or a pic in one of the tables and you've used the info from our previous post to accomplish your requirements. Now, you have a need for the text and/or pic in another table to float differently. What can you do?

It's really quite simple. In your CSS write another script like the following:

.table_cellpadding_two {
padding-top: 10px;
padding-bottom: 0px;
padding-left: 0px;
padding-right: 30px;
}

Notice it's named _two to differentiate it from the other script. You could name it most anything you want, but this is just for an example.

You'll also notice we've chosen different padding from the first script and again you can tweak it to suit your requirements.
