For those desiring a navigation structure with an artistic flair, you might consider using and image in lieu of text.

I prefer this for what I call a site of exploration. Using a mouseover text out of courtesy is recommended.

To implement this for your own site you would change the title, the img src (image source), and the size of your images.

Typewriter text is a fixed width text with the old fashioned typewriter looking font.

It's a useful method of drawing the eye to a particular word or phrase; possibly a hyperlink in a section of text.

It's particularly useful when the normal text style on a site is another font such as Verdana, etc.

Our normal text is very close to the typewriter text, but suppose your normal text looked like this particular paragraph and you wanted to catch the eye of your reader. Inserting the typewriter text html to point them to a hyperlink like [pearweed] would make your text stand apart.
